Room 8 - World Changers

As part of our Junior Syndicate Inquiry we learnt about a hero 'Rosa Parks' 

Here is Room 8s learning and our re-enactment of Rosa parks and her bus ride.

Healing through the Arts

We were lucky to have a special performance by 'Healing through the Arts'. They were so amazing to watch, some of the year 2s  even got to be a part of the show.

We created a brainstorm using popplet to talk about our family and what we like to do. 

Room 10

Sounds Like Fun

We are working really hard learning our letter sounds. 

Today we focused on the letter sound 'd'

 Lennox and Eden worked really hard on hearing the 'd' sound in the beginning, middle and end of a word. 

Kevin, Nevaeh, Taylar and Makusa looked into big letter 'd' and a small letter 'd'

Writing

Here is our first piece of writing. Room 10 wrote about what they have been doing during the long weekends.

Maths

We looked into what we do during the day. We then had to decide if it was the morning, afternoon or night. 

Well done Room 10 for working so hard! What a great start to the year. Keep up the good work :)
