Bird Kites R13
High! Here are our photos of making our bird kites and and then seeing if they would fly. We have been looking a different cultures and the kites that they make. It is part of Getting curious in our inquiry.
Room 9
Room 9 have been doing lots of great learning around making their writing more interesting by using adjectives, verbs and onomatopoeia. We made this video to share some of our learning at Room 9's assembly. Onomatopoeia is our new favourite word!

Year 1 School Trip to Devonport - Room 10
On our way to Britomart Ferry Terminal!
Here we are waiting to get on the Ferry to Devonport!
We finally got on the Ferry.
Once we arrived at Devonport, we went to explore the beach.
We found crabs and used sticks to write our name.
After exploring the beach, we went inside Devonport Library.
We then went to the park and played on the playground.
After our fun adventure at Devonport, we went back to Devonport Terminal and went on the ferry back to school!
